We gave you a chance to rate the Decade’s Best, but now here’s a chance to pick your favorites from any point in time! NPR is holding a poll for the best SFF novels of all time. There are rules to follow on this: horror and paranormal romance are out, you can only pick five titles, series can count as one vote, and no YA lit titles (they’re planning on giving YA its own poll next summer).
So far there appear to be quite a few nominations for Lord of the Rings, the Song of Ice and Fire series, Dune, Ender’s Game, and the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy series to name several. Want to make sure you favorites make the list? Go and vote now! (While we sympathize with the massive undertaking that counting those votes will be, we will happily sit back and drink some lemonade on this one….)
